ITS has developed a proprietary web‐based contract archiving system that provides our customers the ability to store and retrieve contracts and addendums from a secure and encrypted website.
We conceived the idea in response to the increasing use of "blanket" insurance endorsements, which only apply "where required by written contract." Consequently, both the insurance endorsement and the contract requiring such endorsement must be accessible to trigger additional insured coverage, or to grant certain waiver of subrogation rights under a policy. A missing contract can be a missed opportunity to effectively transfer the risk of a claim.
